Busy-ness and Stress
This time of year, regardless of your religious beliefs and background, is full of colour, festivities, family, friends, gifts and often LOTS of stress:
- The shops are buzzing
- the diaries are filling
- and the work year is winding down
Typically it is portrayed as the Happy Season, however this is not always the case. It can highlight:
- shortfalls in your life,
- broken hearts,
- troubled relationships and family issues
- unfulfilled dreams.
- family issues,
- money concerns
Also, being in the height of everyone’s’ enthusiasm can be quite draining, even if all is well in your own life.
This is because, especially for the sensitive, you often take on the feelings, emotions, insecurities and even the pains of those around you. Often you may not be aware that you are picking up on your surroundings. So when your feeling anxious, stressed, or just not yourself, it may be that you are feeling what is going on for other people.
Tools to get through
So here are some tips on keeping yourself in prime form during the coming month. Remember, these tools can be used whenever you are needing to stay centred and true to yourself:
- “Who does this belong to?”™
- If you are feeling down, angry, sore or just not quite yourself, ask “Who does this belong to?”™ If you get the awareness that its not your stuff, return it to sender with love, gratitude and consciousness attached. Repeat this until you feel “better”
- Put yourself in a “bubble”
- When out and about amongst the crowds, friends or even just family, visualize yourself in a clear bubble. It keeps youpure in your own space. It stops your mind and body taking on the thoughts pains and feelings of those around you, and thinking they are yours.
- “Interesting point of view!”™
- When having conversations or observing friends, family and acquaintances, their point of view may not be the same as yours, which can often cause stress and tension. Rather than allow feelings to accumulate in your body, let it go by thinking, “Its just an interesting point of view!”; its not personal, its not right, its just their opinion on that aspect of life.
- “How does it get any/even better than this?”™
- This statement can be used regardless of whether things are going to plan, or if they are taking a sour turn. This is a way of tempting the universe, God, fate, or whatever your belief system is. By asking the question, the world around you will start rearranging, to show you just how things can be even better than they have been.
- If your on a good thing, lets see what other amazing stuff can come your way
- When things are going pear shape, shake it up and demand for it to improve!
- Get support and look after yourself.
- If you are needing help, love yourself enough to look after YOU. It will be worse if you sit amongst the issues and let them fester. Prioritise you and your mental/physical health. Book an appointment for a Kinesiology or BARS™ session, and be the BEST you can BE.
